Week 12 - Updates based on testing session


My game is still in a developing state but was tested.

Most players are satisfied with the brightness and the background art, but still, some bugs need to be fixed such as the control is still a bit clunky,  the character needs to be rendered again.

The hitbox range code will be updated as sometimes the collar (obstacles) does not register the collision with the player.

The following features will be available soon in the upcoming updates:

  • Flying enemies will be added to increase the difficulty


  • Adding a health bar instead of just health with a number.
  • Allow the player to choose the difficulty level. There will be 3 levels: easy, neutral, and nightmare.  The spawn rate of the enemies and the player's speed will be changing depends on the chosen level.
  • Add small cut scene
  • Improve the sound quality for the build and lower the background music.
  • Add control function allow players to learn how to use the game control properly.

Although many testers said that the character is satisfied, the animation is not really smooth for me, so I will improve that as well.
